Shoutout to rinsing my Chemex filter first

I used to just throw the filter in and brew. Last week I forgot to rinse it before pouring water in and the coffee came out tasting like wet cardboard. Learned that cheap paper filters have a cardboard taste that goes straight into your cup if you skip the rinse. Anyone else notice a difference when they forget to do this step?

Been using a 32 inch monitor for the last year and it changed everything for me. I sit about arm's length away and I don't have to squint or lean in to see details anymore. My neck stopped hurting too since I'm not hunching over a tiny laptop screen all day. Took me a few days to get used to the size but now I can't go back.
