Spent $210 on a hand grinder last month and I keep going back and forth on whether it was worth it
Bought a 1Zpresso JX-Pro about five weeks ago after my old blade grinder finally died on me mid pour over. The first week I was thrilled, the grind was way more even and my cups stopped tasting muddy, but then I started wondering if I just paid $210 for something a $40 Cuisinart could mostly do. The thing is I brew two cups a day so that's like 70 grinds in, and hand cranking for 30 seconds every morning is starting to feel like a chore. Curious if anyone here made the jump from a cheap grinder and actually noticed a big difference long term, or if I'm just telling myself it was money well spent.
