That Wednesday at Coastal Carolina where the dean cut the mic mid-sentence

I sat through a campus forum last month where a conservative speaker was barely 10 minutes in before the dean walked on stage and pulled the plug. No warning, no vote, just the sound of the speaker's voice dying in the middle of a sentence about campus housing policy. The crowd was split, half cheered, half booed, and a kid next to me filmed the whole thing on his phone. I get that some topics are touchy, but if a college can't let someone finish a thought without yanking the cord, what exactly are we paying tuition for? Has anyone else seen an administration shut down a speaker that fast, or was this just our school's special brand of panic?
