GC on my last job kept calling expansion joints 'control joints' and now the whole crew says it wrong
He did it for 6 weeks straight on a 40,000 sq ft slab in Phoenix, and by the end even the concrete sub was saying it. They are not the same thing, one lets the slab move and one just controls where it cracks. Has anyone else had a super spread a wrong term through a whole site like that?
