My client portal login broke right before a big deadline

This happened last Tuesday night, just as I was trying to upload final files for a kitchen remodel project. The whole Contractor's Hub dashboard just spun and gave me a 503 error. I tried three different browsers, my phone, everything. I had to call the client at 10 PM to explain the delay, which looked super unprofessional. I finally got in around midnight, but the stress was real. It makes you realize how much we rely on these platforms running smooth. Has anyone else had the portal crash at the worst possible time? What's your backup plan for sending big files when the main system is down?

Oh man, that's the worst. I mean, of course it happens right at the deadline. My backup plan is basically just full panic mode for a solid hour before I remember wetransfer exists. I've definitely been that guy emailing huge files from my personal gmail at like 2 AM, hoping it goes through. It feels so janky after using a proper portal. You just have to laugh at the timing, it's like the software knows.

Ever try using a local file share as a backup when the portal dies?
