Took a gamble on a cheap laser level from Harbor Freight and it actually held up on a 3-day tile job in Phoenix

My buddy Mike, who's been doing tile for 15 years, told me to save my money and just get the $30 one instead of the $300 Bosch. I thought he was insane. Figured it would die after one drop. But we laid 800 square feet of porcelain in 105 degree heat and that thing still reads true. Makes me wonder how much markup we're paying on the name brand stuff.

My nephew bought that same level and dropped it off a ladder twice, still works perfect.

Ha, my buddy Greg had the same luck with his @claire64 - dropped it in a puddle and it still leveled fine.
