Hot take: hand tied extensions are taking over my chair and I get why now

Three years ago I took a hand tied extension class in Dallas and honestly thought it was a waste of $600 because nobody in my chair was asking for them. Last week I did four full sets back to back, all referrals from one bride I did in April. The beads sit flatter than my old tape ins and my clients say they sleep better, which is the thing nobody warns you about with tape. My supplier keeps running out of the wefts in the popular blondes though, so is anyone else having trouble keeping stock or is it just my area?

My stock guy blamed the blonde shortage on two big salons in Houston buying up everything back in March. He said the 22 inch shades are the worst, like finding a parking spot at the mall in December. I just started telling clients to book their color six weeks out so I can actually get the hair in time.
