Spent 3 hours chasing a swing problem that was really just the wind
Was on a job in Amarillo on Tuesday lifting panels and kept fighting this wobble every time I swung left. I started checking the swing brake, the gearbox, even had the mechanic come out, turns out it was a steady 18 mph crosswind hitting the load face. Now I check the flags and the dust off the tires before I start blaming the machine. Any of you keep a little wind meter in the cab or just read it off the load?

Wind meter in the cab seems like overkill for that.
