Dropped $80 on a noise-canceling keyboard for my writing and now I can't type on anything else

I bought this fancy mechanical keyboard with rubber dampeners last week because my clacking was driving my roommate crazy during our shared office hours. Turns out it fixed my focus issues too, I wrote 3,000 words in one sitting for my fantasy novel prompt without stopping once. Has anyone else found a weird tool that totally changed their writing process for the better?

wait, so the keyboard is quieter but now my brain is loud about how much I need one too. guess I'll be $80 poorer and still blaming the roommate for my bad writing habits.

Saw a video where someone modded theirs with foam and tape, apparently it's a whole rabbit hole. $80 is the entry fee, but the real cost is the weekend you'll lose to lubing switches.
