MFA turned my locked-out nightmare into a 10-minute fix this morning
Got hit with the classic forgot-my-phone-at-home situation while trying to log into my work portal at a client's site in Phoenix. Without my authenticator app, I was dead in the water for 2 hours last time. Finally set up backup codes and a hardware key after that mess. This morning same thing happened, phone dead, but I had the YubiKey in my bag. Took 10 minutes to get in. Night and day difference. Anyone else keep a hardware key as a backup or do you trust the cloud recovery options?
