TIL my password manager flagged 47 duplicate passwords across my accounts.
I always thought reusing a few strong passwords was fine, but seeing that exact number made me finally accept that unique ones for every site are non-negotiable, even if it's a pain.

Wait, but isn't a strong reused password still a risk? Like if one site gets hacked, they have the key to all those other accounts. The number just shows how many locks that one key opens, which is pretty scary lol.

Honestly it's that same feeling when your phone shows you exactly how many hours you wasted on it last week. The raw data just cuts through all the excuses. We walk around with these vague good ideas in our heads, but the second you get a hard number it forces a change. It's why step counters and budgeting apps actually work for some people.

Yeah that number hits different. It's like seeing the exact calorie count on a menu, makes the abstract danger feel REAL. We all know the rule but ignore it until it's staring us in the face.
