Posted my ink sketches in a digital showcase last week and got told they don't count as digital art
Last week I uploaded three pen and ink drawings I scanned at 600 dpi and cleaned up in Clip Studio Paint to a digital showcase thread, and a few people said scanning traditional work doesn't belong there. They said it only counts if you draw with a tablet from scratch, which seems like a weird line to draw when half the showcase is AI stuff and 3D renders. Do you all think a scanned drawing belongs in a digital art showcase or should those posts stay in a traditional art space?

Scanning traditional work not counting is such a weird gatekeep, sorry you had to deal with that.
