Spent 4 hours trying to fix a weird color banding issue in my sky gradient
I was finishing a landscape piece in Procreate and the sky just looked awful with these visible lines. Turns out I had my canvas set to 8-bit color the whole time instead of 16-bit. Has anyone else run into this with digital painting software?

Oh man, that is the absolute worst feeling. I've totally been there, fighting with a gradient for way too long before checking the basic settings. It's always something simple that you overlook. What did you end up doing, just creating a whole new canvas with the right bit depth?
