Why do people keep uploading digital paintings at 72 dpi and acting shocked when they look soft?
Spent two hours last night zooming into a piece a friend sent me from her iPad, and the whole thing fell apart into blurry mush the second I hit 150%, because she'd exported it at 72 dpi like it was still 2008. If you're showing digital work online, what's your export setting, and has anyone actually found a reason to stay under 150?
