I finally got my TikTok appeal answered after 6 weeks of silence
Posted a clip of a protest in Lagos and got hit with a 'misinformation' strike that felt totally wrong. Six weeks and three support tickets later, someone finally looked at it and took the strike down. Anyone else dealing with appeal black holes that take forever on these platforms?
Six weeks?? That's actually insane, like a month and a half of just staring at a screen waiting for a bot to maybe read your ticket. The part that gets me is you had to send three separate tickets just to get a human to look at it once. Feels like these platforms bank on people giving up so they never have to fix their mistakes. Glad it worked out but damn, that turnaround time is a joke.
