Warning: Digital hugs from home don't quite fill the void.

Honestly, I used to send postcards that took weeks to arrive, and they meant so much more. Tbh, now with instant messaging, the anticipation and depth have faded.

Yeah, "the physical stuff just hit different" is so true. I found a box of old letters in my mom's attic and just holding the paper felt way more real than any text. It's like the effort made the feeling stick around longer.

I mean, I completely get what you're saying. I used to save every birthday card, and now a text message just disappears into the void. Maybe it's just me, but the physical stuff just hit different.
