Went to a lumber liquidator and found warped studs everywhere
Checked out a big lumber yard outside Columbus last month for a shed frame. Browsed their 2x4 rack and maybe 15 out of 40 were bowed or twisted bad. A worker said they got a bad batch from a mill in Canada and they were still selling them at full price. I grabbed a straight handful but ended up sorting through three pallets. Anyone else seen stores pass off warped lumber lately?
Why are they even selling those at full price? A bad batch should get marked down or sent back, not dumped on people who need straight boards. That kind of thing just makes me shop somewhere else next time.
