Finally got my mud consistency right on a vaulted ceiling in Boise

Last month, I was fighting a 16-foot section and my mix was either too thin or drying too fast. This week, I added the water slower and it laid down smooth on the first coat. What's your go-to trick for high work?

Nice! Sounds like you finally beat physics at its own game.

But what does beating physics even look like in practice? Like, is it a clever workaround for a specific problem, or did you actually find a new way to make something work that shouldn't? I'm always curious about the actual method behind the win, you know?

Totally! Beating physics just means finding the exact sweet spot for your material. You tweak the mix and the timing until gravity works with you, not against you. It's less about breaking rules and more about learning how to bend them just right.
