Vent: One customer in Denver told me my prices were greedy and I still think about it
Last month at a small craft fair in Denver, a woman picked up a handmade leather wallet I priced at $45 and said 'you're just ripping people off for fast cash.' She didn't know I spent 4 hours cutting and stitching each one by hand. Has anyone else had a customer totally misjudge the work behind your product?

Hold up though, $45 for a wallet that took you 4 hours means you're making about $11 an hour before materials and booth fees. That's actually below minimum wage in Colorado. The customer had a point in a weird way your pricing is way too low if anything. You're essentially donating your labor to strangers.

Read a blog post saying most crafters undervalue their time by at least 30%, @taylor_flores.
