Remember when Whyte Ave had actual bookstores instead of vape shops?

I was walking past the old Wee Book Inn location on Whyte the other day and realized it's been a sandwich shop for almost 8 years now. That place had the best used sci-fi section in the city, I found a first edition Bradbury there for like 4 bucks back in 2009. Does anyone else miss having actual indie bookstores downtown or am I just getting old?

Ha, well when you put it that way I can't argue. I still mourn the old pizza place that got turned into a vape shop, now every time I walk past it I just smell artificial watermelon and regret.
