Vent: My garage door spring snapped at 6am on a Tuesday
Went to head to work last week and the door just jammed halfway up, then the cable let go with a sound like a gunshot. Had to call a guy out same day since it was stuck open and raccoons kept eyeing my bins. Anyone else had one go unexpectedly like that?

Doubt it was that bad, raccoons rummage through bins anyway.

Wait, were the raccoons actually getting into the bins before, or is this the first time it happened? Cause there's a big difference between them just tipping stuff over and them actually opening the lids. If they figured out how to pop the latches, that changes the whole situation and the city probably needs to know about it.
