Had a main breaker trip on a 20 year old panel during a heat wave
I was in a house in Tampa last week, and the AC kept cutting out. The main breaker felt hot to the touch, which was a bad sign. I shut everything down, let it cool, and tightened all the lugs on the bus bar. It turned out one was loose, causing heat buildup and the trip. Anyone else run into this with older panels when it gets really hot?
