That old TV repair guy in Pittsburgh taught me something about patience I still think about
He spent 45 minutes just looking at a blown capacitor before touching a single tool, and when I asked why he said 'you can't fix what you don't understand first', so has anyone else run into repair folks who take forever to even start?

Forty five minutes just staring at a capacitor? No way.

Man that is rough. I totally get why you'd be frustrated because staring at anything for 45 minutes feels like forever, especially when it's a dead part. I've been there with broken electronics where you just sit and hope it'll magically fix itself, but it never does haha. Honestly sometimes you just need that time to process and figure out your next move, even if it looks weird from the outside. I feel for the guy though, must have been a long day.

Wait, 45 minutes?! That's insane. I'd be losing my mind just standing there watching him stare at a blown capacitor.
