Hot take: My moss installation for a cafe backdrop sprouted mushrooms like a mini forest
I was going for a serene green vibe but now the owner keeps asking if the 'shrooms are edible or just decorative.

Reminds me of when my succulents decided to host a fungus gnat party last summer. The soil turned into a tiny bug city overnight. I had to move the whole operation to the balcony just to save my sanity. My neighbor thought I was growing something illegal with all the strange growths. It took weeks of drying out the soil to get rid of them. Now I stick to fake plants for indoor decor.

Those fake plants get so dusty though. Real ones clean the air even with a few bugs. My spider plant had mites once but a little soap water fixed it right up.
