Found a 1970s local paper article about a strike my grandpa never mentioned

It was about 200 workers at a plant in Dayton, and the story just stopped after three days. I asked my mom and she said the paper got a lot of pressure to drop it. Has anyone else found a news story that just cuts off like that?

Right, the weird little mysteries. I once spent a whole afternoon trying to track down a follow-up to a 1923 story about a guy who claimed he trained his cat to fetch the mail. It just ends with "Mr. Higgins expects further progress by Tuesday." I never found a Tuesday paper. I got way too into it for a story about a mail cat.
