My build almost stalled because of a missed cable connection.

I skipped checking the front panel headers and thought the power button was broken. A forum guide pointed me to the right pins, and now it boots up fine.

Remember freaking out over my first build not posting, only to realize I never plugged in the second CPU power cable. Spent an hour reseating the RAM before I even saw the empty socket near the motherboard's top edge. Felt like a total genius when the fix was just one more wire.

Wait, you seriously spent a full hour messing with the RAM? @the_riley that's some next level dedication before checking cables. I would have given up after twenty minutes and started panicking. That empty socket must have felt like a slap in the face when you finally saw it.

Why does your brain always go to the hardest fix first? It's like we're trained to expect the worst case with computers. You skip the simple stuff because it feels too obvious. Then the real solution is right there, mocking you. That moment of finding it isn't genius, it's pure relief mixed with being kinda mad at yourself.
