Switched from dry kibble to raw food for my senior dog last year
Had to pick between the expensive pre-made raw patties or making it myself. Went with the DIY route. Cost me about $80 a month for ingredients from the Roseville Co-op. My lab mix Sadie has way more energy now at 12 years old. Has anyone else tried switching their older dog's diet?

Watch out for the balance though, @burns.ruby. Too much liver can mess with calcium levels.

Started making my own raw food and suddenly my dog thinks she's a wolf from a documentary. She went from barely getting off the couch to sprinting at the mailman like she's 3 years old again. Its wild what ditching the kibble crumbs can do for a senior pup.
