Seeing that warning about fasting before runs being a total fail really got me. Honestly, I used to be convinced that running on empty was the best way to go. But your note on a light breakfast totally changed my mind, it turns my own runs from a grind into something fun. It's like what @graysullivan said about barely getting through morning workouts without coffee, that used to be me. Now I see that even a little food makes the whole thing way better.

That 'barely making it through' feeling is THE worst, but moving my coffee to AFTER a handful of nuts stopped the crashes. Now I actually look forward to mornings.
