Used to believe these places should just be grateful for whatever comes their way. Seeing donations ruined by poor logistics like that shows how wasted generosity hurts everyone involved. They're literally throwing away the help people try to give.

It's sad to see good intentions wasted by poor management. @max489 made a good point about how that damage can stop people from helping again. Finding better ways to handle donations would honor everyone's effort.
