My homemade tasting note cards have a new trend I spot

Friends are drawing little icons instead of writing descriptions. It's fun but sometimes hard to decode.

Hard to decode" is funny, I find the icons make it faster for me.

Same here, the visual cues are quicker.

Just ends up being more mental work for me. Every time I see a new icon set I have to learn what each picture means, but words are just words. My brain spends extra time translating the picture when I could already be done reading a label. Plus sometimes I tap the wrong one because two icons look too similar.
