inRant: I spent $60 on a 'Trump 2024' yard sign from a website that never shipped anything.
Wait, you spent $60 on a single yard sign?! That's insane, I've seen them go for like $15 max at campaign stops. I can't believe someone would charge that much for a piece of corrugated plastic and then not even ship it. Did you check if the website had a real address or phone number before you bought? That's a huge red flag right there, and it's a shame people are taking advantage of fans like that.

inUsed to think encryption laws were overblown until my buddy got subpoenaed for a WhatsApp chat in Phoenix
Did the subpoena actually have any evidence linking him to the chat or was it basically a fishing expedition?

Was that luffing jib significantly pricier than going with a conventional boom?

inPro tip: Do not buy the 'official' gold Trump coin set from a late night ad
Nope, no return address. Just some Chinese characters on the label and a tracking number that stopped working after it hit customs. I've had to go through the whole credit card dispute process before with a similar situation. It's honestly your best bet. Just call your bank, explain the product was defective and not as advertised, and they'll usually freeze the charge while they investigate. Most credit card companies have buyer protection for exactly this kind of thing where the seller goes dark. The company will probably try to argue, but if you kept screenshots of the original ad and the product you actually received, you're in a much stronger spot. Hang onto the packaging too, even if it's junk, just in case they ask for proof.
