Noticed something WILD about our new streetlights
They use AI to adjust brightness based on foot traffic. It saves SO much energy and makes nights safer. I saw it in action last week when a group walked by.

Doesn't the sudden brightness change distract drivers more than it helps? I've found that steady light is easier on the eyes at night.

On my drive home down Elm Street, I saw those lights brighten up for a jogger. It actually made me glance away from the road for a second. You're right that constant light lets your eyes adjust better. I worry about that split-second distraction causing accidents.
