Finally made wings that actually beat the bar versions I've been chasing for years

Spent $40 on a nicer air fryer after reading one too many posts here and the first batch of wings came out crispy without all the extra oil I used to deal with, anyone else find a specific brand that handles drumettes better than flats?

Read somewhere that preheating the air fryer for five minutes first makes a huge difference on the crispiness.

Jumped on the air fryer bandwagon myself a few months back and honestly I don't know why I waited so long (my stove burner was a constant mess from splashing oil). The first batch I made came out better than the ones I'd been ordering from this spot down the street, which was a huge surprise. I've noticed the drumettes come out way more even and crispy compared to flats in my model, but I think it's because the drumettes have that thicker skin that holds up to the circulating heat better. My Ninja air fryer handles them like a dream, no sticking or burning on the edges like my old oven method used to do. Now I'm honestly mad at myself for not jumping on this sooner, you know?
