inMy writing group in Austin split over a prompt about a 3 year old secret
Honestly saw a whole thread about this last week. Some people were saying cages can actually help focus during creative work. Like it's not about being trapped, more about cutting out distractions. Makes total sense if your group gets sidetracked easily. I get why a prompt isn't enough sometimes. You need hard limits to get anything done.

inI was at the game cafe in Springfield and saw something that made me worry.
Springfield's Rolling Dice cafe has 200 games. How many missing pieces does it take before a game is just unplayable and a waste of shelf space? Their system seems like it would create more customer complaints than it saves in staff time.

inFinally got a clean pull through a packed conduit in an old apartment building.
Ever notice how time just turns everything into weird junk?

inSaw a brick chimney in Charleston with zero clearance to the wood siding
That kind of thing is everywhere once you start looking for it. People patch over problems to make things look right for now, but the real issue just keeps cooking in the background. It happens with old houses, sure, but also with cars, relationships, you name it. The fix is always harder later, but we keep choosing the easy cover-up.

inI saw a demo at a tech meetup in Austin where an AI wrote a full song in under two minutes.
Sounds like a great way to flood the internet with even more generic coffee shop music. Hope it at least remembered to add the fake vinyl crackle for that authentic feel.
