I used to think my air fryer was just for frozen snacks until my Brussels sprouts experiment in Portland last month changed my whole view.
I tossed a pound of halved sprouts with olive oil, salt, and a tablespoon of maple syrup for 15 minutes at 380, and they came out so caramelized and perfect that my partner, who HATES them, actually asked for seconds.

Oh man, that maple syrup trick is a game changer! I was reading a food blog last week that said a tiny bit of something sweet really helps the browning process in an air fryer. They said it's because the hot air cooks things so fast, the sugar has time to caramelize without burning the veggie itself. Your method sounds perfect for that. I need to try this with some carrots next.
