Rant: My frozen fries went from sad to perfect in 12 minutes
I had a bag of those generic crinkle cuts sitting in my freezer for months, always coming out limp. The trick was preheating the air fryer to 400 degrees for 3 minutes before adding them, and shaking the basket once halfway. They got actually crispy for the first time. What's your go-to method for frozen potatoes?

So you preheat the air fryer. I never do that. Always just dump them in cold. Maybe that's my whole problem. Do you do that for all frozen stuff, like onion rings or those little potato nuggets, or just fries?

My buddy's fries got soggy until he started preheating for everything.

Yeah I was the same as @bettyk53, but preheating really is a game changer for all frozen stuff.
