Swore my air fryer would make frozen fries soggy, then I tried this one trick a guy at a Dollar Tree in Ypsilanti mentioned
I ran the fries for 8 minutes at 380, shook the basket like he said, and they came out crisp enough that my roommate asked if I'd fried them in oil, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has tried the double-spray with avocado oil trick versus just tossing them in a bowl first.

Tbh my first attempt at air fryer fries was so sad I almost gave up and went back to the oven like a fool. I tossed them in a bowl with a little oil and they still came out pale and limp, like sad little potato sticks. The double spray thing makes way more sense because every fry actually gets coated instead of the ones on the bottom sitting there naked. Gonna grab some avocado oil and test it this weekend, my roommate owes me a taste test anyway.
