Update: Got my air fryer chicken just right for my new diet plan
It took a couple of tries to avoid drying it out. Now I have a healthy go-to that keeps me on track.

Isn't it the best feeling when you finally nail a recipe? I used to totally agree with what briancooper said, thinking it was just another way to fry stuff. But then I tried it and saw you use way less oil, so it feels like a totally different, lighter way to cook. Finding a few good spices can keep that chicken from ever getting boring, you know? It really does help you stick with eating better.

My air fryer changed how I cook chicken. You're spot on about using less oil, it feels like a totally different meal. I rotate through spices like smoked paprika and cumin so it never gets boring. I get where @briancooper is coming from, but for me, the key is that I actually want to eat this healthy food. It's been three weeks of air fried chicken and I'm not tired of it yet. That's a win for sticking to better eating.

Actually, air frying still makes it fried food (which isn't always the healthiest choice). Sticking to just chicken could get boring fast and derail your diet.
