Why does nobody talk about air frying Brussels sprouts without stinking up the house?

Honestly, my kitchen smells better now than when I roasted them for hours.

Cooking them hot and quick in the air fryer makes a big difference. A little lemon juice or vinegar cuts the smell too.

Have you tried opening a window while it cooks? That usually helps a lot in my place. I saw @sullivan.caleb's issue, but a good vent or fan makes the air fryer method work for me. The smell clears out pretty fast if you get some air moving.

Tried @jade_young68's air fryer method on some salmon last night... hot and quick like you said. The lemon juice trick did nothing, my apartment still reeks. Now my couch smells like a fish fry and I'm getting side-eyes from my cat. Honestly, the air fryer just made the smell faster, not better. Next time I'm just ordering takeout.
