Spent 6 hours troubleshooting a hardwired motion sensor in Denver yesterday
Installed a dozen of these before no problem. But this one in a finished basement kept showing faults on the panel. Turned out the previous guy ran the wire too close to a 120v line in the ceiling joist. Took me forever to chase down the interference with my meter. Anyone else run into phantom faults from bad wire routing?

Yeah that interference stuff is a nightmare. My buddy had a similar issue with a floodlight cam in his garage, kept tripping the GFCI randomly. Took him three weekends and a new switch before he realized the romex for the light was sharing a staple with a refrigerator line behind the drywall. He had to pull the whole run and reroute it like 18 inches away to finally fix it.
