Was dead set against wireless sensors until a job at a church in Akron changed my mind

I always told customers hardwired or nothing, thought wireless was junk. Got a call to add 4 contacts to a old stone building where running wire would take 2 days. Used the new Honeywell 5800 series and they paired first try, no interference. Worked perfect for 6 months now and the pastor loves it. Any other die hard wired guys come around on this stuff?

Agreed, once they work right those Honeywell sensors change your whole thinking on wireless.

That whole "first try, no interference" part is where my skepticism kicks in. Sounds like beginner's luck to me, but I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day. Maybe I'll finally give up my soldering iron when I see a wireless sensor survive a church potluck spill.
