Hit 5,000 gallons of rainwater collected this monsoon season
My little 3-tank setup in the North Valley finally crossed 5,000 gallons yesterday and that's enough to water my entire xeriscape front yard for two summers, anyone else tracking their cistern numbers this year?

Wait till you see your water bill after all that storage. Those tanks cost more to set up than the water they'll ever hold, and monsoon water sits around breeding mosquitos if you're not careful. I say let the city handle it and save yourself the headache.
