My whole backyard looked like a dust bowl until I planted clover instead of grass 3 months ago
The bees showed up within 2 weeks and now I spend maybe 10 minutes a week on watering versus dragging the sprinkler around for 45 minutes every other day, so has anyone else swapped out their lawn mix around here and seen a big difference?

Oh man, the bee thing is wild right? I bet you're also cutting way back on nitrogen runoff since clover fixes its own, which means less chemical fertilizer washing into the storm drains around the neighborhood. That's a bigger deal than people realize for local creeks and ponds.

Wait, nitrogen runoff? That's a thing from regular lawns? I had no idea grass was that bad for the creeks. I just thought my yard looked like crap and was tired of the sprinkler bill. So the clover is actually helping keep chemicals out of the water too? That's wild, I just wanted a green yard that didn't take a full afternoon to maintain.
