Last weekend I binge-watched 3 shows and one of them completely flopped by episode 5

I went into that new fantasy anime thinking it'd be a 10/10 based on all the hype, but the pacing got so slow by episode 5 I almost fell asleep. The fight scenes were cool though, has anyone else felt let down by a hyped show lately?

Held off on bingeing for YEARS man, thought it was a waste of time. Then I caught a bad cold last winter and blew through the whole first season of The Bear in like 8 hours. @tyler176 you gotta try it with something that's got those cliffhanger endings, I literally couldn't stop watching because every episode dropped some new crisis on the characters. By Sunday night I had finished two more seasons of some random drama I never would have picked up otherwise. It's just way easier to stay in the story when you don't have to wait a week to see what happens next.
