Vent: People keep calling every single anime fight 'peak fiction' and it's driving me nuts

I was in a thread about the new Jujutsu Kaisen arc and someone said a random fight from episode 3 was 'peak fiction' with zero explanation. It's like that word lost all meaning. I saw the same thing happen last week in a Chainsaw Man discussion, where a 30-second scuffle got called the 'peak of the medium'. How does a word for the absolute best get used for every single scene? Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my feed?

Yeah, "peak fiction" is totally overused now.

Totally agree, it's lost all meaning. I just call stuff I really like "good" now. Simpler that way.
