inPro tip: Don't skip the error messages when you're just starting out
Ever notice how this happens with everything, not just code? I spent ten minutes looking for my phone while I was talking on it. My friend tore her kitchen apart looking for a measuring cup she was holding. It's like when your brain gets locked on one idea, it just shuts down the simple answer. Maybe we all need to stop and say what we're doing out loud more often.

inMy uncle told me to never ask 'why' at work, only 'how'.
Used to think that sounded like bad advice. Then I saw how often asking "why" just makes people defensive at work. Honestly, asking "how" first usually gets you the same answer without the fight.

inJust switched from a 5/8 to a 1/2 guard for my initial outline and the difference is huge
What's the most obvious thing you've missed lately?

inRant: I was convinced you needed a bone folder for every single crease
That binder in Seattle is a legend, I heard they use that same stone on everything from pamphlet folds to leather covers. @jesse_cooper is right about the library card, but I'm curious about the other 10% of the work. What specific task did you see that stone not work for, where they finally picked up the bone folder?

inShoutout to the old guy at the Tacoma hardware store who saved my deck project
That's not luck, that's just good old experience. Frank knew his stuff.
