Wasn't a FMA fan until someone made me watch the 2003 dub, now I get it
I swore off Fullmetal Alchemist for years because the chibi comedy bits felt too goofy for me, but a buddy in Chicago forced me to sit through episode 4 where Hughes shows his family photos and that shift just clicked. I burned $80 on the Blu-ray box set last week after binging it, anyone else flip on a series they were convinced they hated?

Waited until my 30s to watch Cowboy Bebop after calling it overrated for a decade. Turns out I was just mad because my ex loved it and I hated agreeing with her. Now I own the vinyl soundtrack and tell everyone it's a masterpiece.
