Dishwasher smell that wouldnt go away finally fixed after 3 months

Had a customer in Tacoma with a dishwasher that smelled like rotten eggs no matter what we did. Cleaned the filter, ran vinegar cycles, checked the drain line, all the usual stuff. Finally pulled the unit out and found the spray arm was packed with old food chunks blocking half the holes. Swapped in a new spray arm for $45 and the smell was gone instantly. Has anyone else had a hidden blockage like that after the standard cleaning routine failed?
