That Tuesday in Tacoma tested my patience with induction cooktops
I got called to a house where the owner said their induction range kept tripping the breaker, turned out a mouse had chewed through the main power cord insulation and it was arcing inside the junction box. I had to charge them $180 over the quote because the replacement cord had to be special ordered and I spent 4 hours rewiring the whole unit. My question is, how do you all handle customers who expect a flat rate no matter what hidden damage you find once you open the panel?
