My oak tree prune turned into a full-time fetch session with a client's dog!

I was trimming a large oak in a backyard yesterday. The family dog kept racing over to grab every branch I cut, like it was the best game ever! Have you ever had a job where animals added some unexpected fun?

That's hilarious, the dog probably thought you were the best human branch dispenser ever lol. My pest control van has basically become a mobile treat station for every friendly dog on my route. Half the time I think they're more excited to see me than their owners are, which is kinda sad for my ego honestly. Got one golden retriever who tries to "help" by carrying my tool bag, which is not helpful at all.

But isn't it possible dogs just get super pumped for treats? They might bounce around for you, but that doesn't mean they love their owners any less. I've seen dogs go wild for the mailman but still cuddle with their family at night. That golden carrying your bag is probably his way of joining in, like he's part of your work team.
